Big trees grow from little oaks
Rosa Delgado opened Little Oaks in 2008 in a converted farmhouse with eleven children, one sandpit and a firm belief that childhood should not be rushed.

Eighteen years of muddy knees
Today we care for 96 children in four rooms, but the farmhouse kitchen is still the heart of the place. We have grown slowly on purpose — keeping groups small, teachers for the long haul and families at the centre.

In their words
Our daughter cried the first morning and now cries when it's time to leave. The daily photos and notes make us feel part of her day.
The Acorns teachers knew exactly how to stretch our son. He started kindergarten reading simple words and bursting with confidence.
Real food, real mud and genuinely kind people. It feels like a big family that happens to be brilliant at early learning.
Come and see us in action
